I was also thinking, about my summer road trip. Going to BC is almost 4500kms one way, & 48 hours of driving. BC is also fucking expensive. I could go to the Blue Ridge Mountains, it’s a 1/4 of the distance. Fuel as also way cheaper south of the border, so fuel costs be way down. I could it time with the Nashville Oppo meet if my schedule (&time off work) works out. The roads are also ashit nice as the BC roads. The only down side is the exchange rate. 4 days of driving Vs. 1 day of driving to get there too.

I dunno, a “Nismo” RS parked in front of me at the track today. 6 speed manual, decent bolstering in the seat.

I kinda dug it.

Recaro Sportster CS’s, same as euro spec FoRS. The RS gets 215hp/210tq, helical lsd, the 1-2-3 are shorter then the regular 6spd, lots more chassis bracing. Most RS’s are black, silver been the most  uncommon of the 3 available paint options.

4500km road trip in a Juke???? No way.

I hear those things have front lower control arm bushing problems.

After the round trip it could be closer to 10,000+kms, 4500km is one way just getting there. I’ve never had front lower control arm issues.

The Maryhill Loops hill climb is not a place you want to have missing bushings - not a lot of forgiveness on many of those corners. Hope they can get it put it back together again.

Yes, blue ridge parkway is great. It’s very different from BC, but still beautiful and fun. Highly recommended.

Just make sure you go to BC someday.

Lot of kms!

Good thing you haven’t had problems. I just heard in an Instagram post that the front lower control arm bushings on Jukes can remove themselves from the control arm. That apparently makes the car jump left and right, violently even, when going to the brake. Seems sketchy.
